I had the recently pleasure of working with New Zealand Actor Kristy Brooks. She’s heading to the USA and wanted to update her headshots with a more LA style. Wellington has a very un-LA look so we headed in to the allyways off Dixon St and found some nice brickwork and chainlink fence. I’m not sure why those particular backdrops worked but perhaps the natural light gives it a summery look? In reality it was freezing cold and blowing a gale, hence the windswept look Kristy has going on there!
Kristy is looking to work on Crime Dramas so we got some of her looking like a tough LA detective. She’s got a great pensive look 🙂
